Managing COVID-19 at home

Supplies to have on hand to look after yourself safely

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you may be worried about how to look after yourself and your loved ones at home.

By preparing what you may need, and thinking about who you may need to call on for help you will be well equipped to manage your illness at home.

Having adequate supplies ready is just one part of an isolation plan. You may also want to think about how you will manage your mental wellbeing or access a PCR or at-home test for yourself or your household contacts.

With adequate rest and medication, you may be able to manage your symptoms at home. If your symptoms get worse, call your GP or healthcare provider immediately. If you develop breathing difficulties, call Triple Zero (000) for assistance.
