The Asia Pacific Migration Network (APMN) is a regional network of Asia Pacific Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, established in 2012 by 17 Asia Pacific National Societies. The current co-chairs are the Maldivian Red Crescent and Philippine Red Cross, and the Secretariat is hosted by the Australian Red Cross. The APMN is supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). As of 2022, the APMN has engaged 35 of 39 National Societies across the region.
The Network was founded on the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement’s commitments, policies and principles related to migration.
