Are you ready for an emergency? You can reduce the impact of emergencies, big and small, by being prepared.  Identify your household’s key support people, accomplish simple tasks to make you and your loved ones safer, and protect the things that matter most to you.

Steps to take action

  1. Complete your household RediPlan. RediPlan has been designed by Red Cross to provide an easy-to-follow set of actions to help you plan for emergencies. You can complete your RediPlan online or contact your local Red Cross office to request a paper copy.
  2. Encourage your friends and family members to complete their own RediPlan and get prepared for emergencies.
  3. Take your preparedness further. Download and use the Get Prepared app - an easy to use app that helps you access information and tools to complete an emergency plan. It builds on the Red Cross Rediplan.
