Assistance available to people in Afghanistan

People with ties to foreign governments, embassies, military, NGOs are advised to consult with those foreign entities to understand any opportunities for departure from inside or outside Afghanistan. UNHCR’s Afghanistan page also includes some information on state-sponsored relocation programs.

UNHCR Afghanistan can be contacted on +93 (0) 790 691 746 and +93 (0) 704 996 168 (weekdays) and UNHCR has limited ability to assist Afghan nationals inside Afghanistan and is unable to provide logistical or financial assistance to people seeking to depart the country.
