Australian Red Cross, in partnership with South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network, is offering FREE Mental Health Matters courses and webinars to communities in the South East NSW region.

Farmers, their families, the farming community and other community members affected by drought and COVID are encouraged to register and participate.

About the mental health matters workshop and webinar

The courses are fully funded – there is no cost to participants.
The training is delivered by a Red Cross qualified and experienced Mental Health Matters trainer. 
Mental Health Matters courses are 90 minutes
Mental Health Matters Workshops – 4 hrs

These courses will address topics such as:

  • Definitions of mental health and mental illness
  • Mental health in Australian communities
  • Resilience and self-care
  • Recovery
  • Impact of unsupported mental illness
  • Dealing with crisis situations
  • Understanding the role of support
  • Where to find assistance information and resources
