This summer, the number of Australian Red Cross emergency response activations has nearly tripled compared to the same time last year.

Many Australians are impacted by the devastation caused by bushfires, floods, severe storms, cyclones, and collective trauma events.

From record flooding after cyclone Jasper hit far north Queensland to fires across the country, Australian Red Cross has supported over 32,000 people just this summer.

Meet one of our incredible volunteers at the Cyclone Jasper recovery efforts. The video shows how our Emergency Services teams help locals navigate life after a disaster.

You can also access our Emergency Preparedness Resources if you need help to respond, prepare or recover from disasters.
