Regular donations from generous supporters provide us with a reliable, ongoing source of funding, with which we can budget and plan for future services for those most in need. Over the past five years, a strategic focus on growing regular giving at Red Cross has resulted in an increase from 62,000 monthly donors in June 2010 to 129,000 in June 2015. Their total donation amount has risen from $12 million per annum to $41.8 million per annum during this time. In 2015 and 2016, we plan to expand our regular donor base further to 132,000, helping us to continue reducing human suffering and building resilient communities, right around Australia and further afield.
Our ongoing strategy will involve diversifying the ways we reach new regular donors, while maintaining a strong engagement level with each individual through mail, digital and telemarketing campaigns.
