Through generous gifts and grant opportunities, trusts and foundations provide funding for pilot projects and contribute to the continuation and expansion of key services. We have had another strong year that saw three foundations, Collier Charitable Fund, The Ian Potter Foundation and Sidney Myer Fund supporting research and one of Australia’s first justice reinvestment trials. Gandel Philanthropy is supporting a new technology trial to implement during disasters that aims to manage people and information more effectively. Also, The Susan Harris Foundation is generously supporting family and community violence prevention in Tasmania and Western Australia.
