Australian Red Cross is supporting community members affected by the Bondi Beach Incident. Our teams are on the ground providing Psychological First Aid (PFA) within the community, alongside practical support to help people cope in the immediate aftermath.
Australian Red Cross teams have been activated to offer calm, practical assistance to help people manage distress in the hours and days following trauma.
We have opened Register.Find.Reunite,. allowing people affected to let family and friends know they are safe, or to enquire about someone they are concerned about. Registering also helps emergency services understand who may still need support. The service is available via the Australian Red Cross website.
Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is also supporting Sydney hospitals, and donating blood is one practical way Australians can help following an emergency. People are encouraged to call 13 14 95 to book a donation time. More information can be found on lifeblood.com.au

Red Cross pays our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander custodians of the country where we work, and to Elders, past, present and emerging.
