Through discussion and research, Red Cross and its collaborators found a critical missing piece in the complex employment landscape for people with lived experience of the justice system. We ask employers to recruit, manage and retain from this often-overlooked cohort; however, we fail to empower employers to understand how appropriately engage.
This is exactly what our research tapped into and why we have come together to create this first of its kind resource. We want you, employers, to feel supported and aware of best practice when recruiting, retaining and engaging people with lived experience of the justice system. Together offer better employment opportunities and support a more diverse workforce.
