You can do something today to support refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia.
It could be helping a newly-arrived family to settle into the neighbourhood. It could be talking to a fellow parent at the school gate, or being kind to a new student. It could be helping a talented, hardworking person in their search for a job.
It could be as simple as a conversation with someone you know, to share the facts about why people seek asylum.
Every bit helps to make our neighbourhoods more welcoming for everyone.
And you’re likely to meet inspiring people along the way!
What you can do with Red Cross
In the coming months, we’ll be looking for volunteers around the country to support clients in our migration hubs, help us provide emergency relief, and mentor people looking for jobs.
Register your interest in volunteering with refugees and we’ll let you know when roles are available.
