If you are an asylum seeker in Australia, we have services that can help you. It doesn’t matter how you arrived in Australia.

How we can help

You can visit one of our migration hubs around the country to talk to someone and learn about migration services available in your area.

You can get help in an emergency if you’re suffering financial hardship and have no other support.

We can also help you connect with your local community by volunteering. You can learn new skills and meet new people.

Visit one of our offices to find out more about how we can help you.

Looking for work?

Our In Work Australia program can introduce you to people who can answer your questions about getting a job, workplace culture and employment in Australia.

You can meet our mentors via Facebook, LinkedIn or in person.

Status Resolution Support Service

Red Cross can no longer accept clients under the Status Resolution Support Service (SRSS) as it will be transferring the program to other service providers in the coming months.

SRSS provides casework and other support to people seeking asylum. The program will continue with other service providers.

If you are a current client, we will support you until your new service provider is ready. If you are new to SRSS, we can refer you to a service provider in your state.
