Australian Red Cross is building a better society based on people helping people. We save lives and support people before and after disasters strike. We work to alleviate suffering during wars and conflict and promote the laws of war. And we work to assist our most vulnerable community members – no matter their circumstances. Funds raised through first aid and mental health go towards supporting our humanitarian goals.
Australian Red Cross is a registered training organisation that provides nationally recognised courses in First Aid and Mental Health and supplies quality first aid kits and defibrillators.
Without the correct First Aid, a simple injury can turn into something serious. Learning First Aid doesn't just help facilitate recovery, it helps save lives. Please keep your training up-to-date: The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that CPR training needs to be refreshed every 12 months and First Aid training needs to be refreshed every 3 years.
Your first aid certificate remains current for 3 years. Australian Red Cross will issue a reminder 3 months prior to your certificate renewal date, so if your certification is still within 3 years, the course you must select Provide First Aid Refresher.
If your certification has lapsed 3 years from the date of completion, you will need to complete the full first aid course, which includes prior online theory. Select Provide First Aid Blended.
Our team is available to assist during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm AEST. You can contact our team with your enquiry via email, firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will respond within 2 business days.
