Where crisis ends, care continues
In conflicts around the world, the suffering doesn’t end when the gunfire stops.
Beyond the visible injuries, there are wounds no medicine can heal — grief, fear, and trauma that can last a lifetime.
In hospitals, refugee camps, and shelters, Red Cross teams help people begin to heal by offering mental health and psychosocial support — walking alongside them through their pain. We also care for our own, ensuring Red Cross aid workers have psychologist support before, during, and after deployment, so they can keep giving their best.
Here in Australia, families with loved ones in conflict zones often live in a painful limbo, waiting for news that may never come. Through our Restoring Family Links program, we work across borders and languages to help reconnect separated families, and provide emotional support while they wait.
Whether it’s a nurse in a war zone offering comfort to someone who’s lost everything, or a team member here at home helping a father search for his missing son, your donation makes sure no one has to face these darkest moments alone.
Please give today and help heal the invisible wounds, in Australia and across the globe.
