Twelve months after the floods in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, families and communities continue to rebuild. Through it all, and with the support of our incredible community of individual donors and corporate, philanthropic and government partners, Australian Red Cross remains on the ground.
Thanks to your generosity, we raised $55.6 million that has enabled an extensive emergency response; a comprehensive cash assistance program; and a long-term recovery program that has already delivered support, workshops, training and education to thousands of people.
The road to recovery report details the first year of our response to these devastating foods and the incredible reach of our programs. It also describes our plans for longer-term recovery and resilience building in these flood-affected regions as we stand alongside people in need.
