For free and confidential legal advice
Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission
The Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission provides free and confidential legal information, referral to other helpful services and legal advice appointments for most legal problems in the NT.
Eligibility: People in the Northern Territory who cannot afford a private lawyer and who meet the Commission’s means and merits tests, with priority for disadvantaged and vulnerable people, including people on low incomes, people in custody, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, refugees and migrants.

NT Working Women’s Centre
The NT Working Women’s Centre is a community based non-profit organisation with a mission to support women in the workplace. The NT Working Women’s Centre provides free and confidential advice to women about work-related matters.
The NT Working Women’s Centre can assist with issues such as:
- discrimination
- pay
- working conditions
- unfair dismissal
- superannuation
- harassment
- bullying
- work health and safety
- any other work-related matters.

The Fair Work Ombudsman provides free advice and support to all workers in Australia with or without a visa to help them understand workplace rights and law, and discuss workplace issues, including exploitation.
