Experienced Red Cross staff and volunteers will keep in touch by phone to check-in on you, support your emotional and mental wellbeing, and help connect you with information or assistance you might benefit from.

Who is this for?

The service is available to anyone whose wellbeing is impacted as a result of COVID-19. This includes adults of all ages who may be experiencing feelings of loneliness or isolation, including people living with a disability, experiencing mental illness, recovering from an illness or accident, coping with ongoing health conditions, or living with uncertainty while voluntarily self-isolating for their wellbeing.

How does it work?

Specially trained Red Cross staff and volunteers will call you as often as you would like for a friendly chat, while supporting your wellbeing, including checking how you are coping and if you need support to access medical, food supplies or other essentials.
