Setara - Bangladesh

For single mum Setara a bamboo and tarpaulin shanty is home, for now at least.

She lives in the hut, in a refugee camp for those fleeing violence in Myanmar, with her three children and aunt, who is almost entirely blind. "I'm worried about my house. How will I make it stronger?”

In the morning Setara cooks for her children and then heads to the Red Cross and Red Crescent community centre to sew. "I'm a volunteer and I'm teaching too. I teach hygiene, how to clean hands, and how to keep happy a blind person in the camp."

With the other women at the centre "we share our stories about suffering, but we are relaxed and sleep well now”.
