A one-stop shop for bushfire-affected communities to access information and support.
With COVID-19 restrictions easing, Red Cross is joining local governments and community agencies to roll out a series of bushfire recovery events across New South Wales.
These events enable bushfire-affected communities to access the latest information from multiple agencies in one place. This includes information on what financial support is available, and help in applying for grants.
“Red Cross wants to encourage people to come forward to access grants,” says Jessie Huard, Red Cross NSW State Recovery Coordinator.
“We will be there to answer people’s questions about applications they’ve already made, how to apply for financial assistance, and to offer other support they may need,”
