Seminar: Labour exploitation in a COVID-19 environment

An invitation to sector partners to join a lunchtime seminar to understand how COVID-19 is making more people in Australia vulnerable to labour exploitation.

Severe forms of exploitation and forced labour occur before, during and after crisis, and poverty and destitution are drivers of labour exploitation in a COVID-19 environment.

Join the Support for Trafficked People Program (STPP) team for this lunchtime seminar, to understand how COVID-19 is making more and more people in Australia vulnerable to different forms of labour exploitation.

The team will also provide guidance on how to recognise, respond and refer people at risk to appropriate support.

The sessions are open to all sector partners, the general public and are especially relevant for those working directly with community members.

Both sessions will have the same content, and a recording will be available on this page following their completion. Please share widely to anyone who may be interested to join.

Wednesday 24th June 1-2pm AEST
