Partnering with businesses to create impact

We believe that tapping into the skills and resources of our partners across many sectors is critical to achieving social impact.

In the past year Red Cross received generous support from more than 30 corporate partners. Support from our corporate partners includes both financial and non-financial support in the form of pro-bono skills sharing, clothing drives for Red Cross retail stores and promotion of Red Cross to customers and employees.

This year we signed an agreement with the BHP Foundation to improve wellbeing and reduce the psychosocial impacts of drought for individuals and communities. And the Commonwealth Bank generously enabled customer donations via their online banking app, leading to more than $8.5 million to support communities impacted by emergencies, including the drought, floods in Queensland and bushfires in Tasmania and Victoria.

Our ten-year partnership with Insurance Australia Group (IAG) is now in its third year. We have a shared focus on preparedness for natural disasters and building safer communities.

We also acknowledge King & Wood Mallesons for their legal pro bono support generous workplace giving. This partnership is now into its second decade.

We thank the corporate partners below who provided more than $50,000 cash or in-kind this year.
