1914 - 2014

For 100 years Red Cross has been there for people in need, no matter who they are, no matter where they live.

“Most of you know in a general way what the Society does; but until you have read the report of its activities, I am certain you have no real idea of just how much is accomplished. Its activities are so widespread, so all-enveloping for charity, compassion and mercy, that it leaves me astounded every time the record of a further year’s effort is placed before me.”

Dame Enid Lyons, quoted in 1943-1944 Annual Report
