Trusts and Foundations

Through generous gifts and grant-making opportunities, trusts and foundations provide flexible funding to invest in pilot projects; support the trialling of innovative approaches to tackle disadvantage; and contribute at times when other funding is insufficient or cannot be secured. This year the Percy Baxter Charitable Trust (managed by Perpetual Trustees) equipped us to continue supporting long-term recovery for bushfire-affected communities in Victoria; NAB (Community Grants) collaborated with us to research the social return on investment for our phone-based outreach programs; and the Ernest Heine Family Foundation’s multi-year contributions continued providing financial security to our schools breakfast program in the greater Sydney area.
