In his youth, James Smail travelled extensively and was shocked by what he saw in third world countries. Today, being “time-poor” and running his own business, he feels it’s his obligation to contribute financially to those less fortunate than himself. “I’ve had a very lucky and privileged upbringing… so I think it’s important for us to give,” says James. For many years, James has generously donated a percentage of his company’s earnings as an annual donation to Red Cross. Individual donors like James make a huge contribution in providing the vital funds needed to support our everyday work.
