International Humanitarian Law training courses

Red Cross offers training and education about the laws of war to organisations and individuals.

The Australian Red Cross international humanitarian law program provides training and education on the laws of war to a variety of audiences. These include the Australian Defence Force, civil servants, humanitarian workers, lawyers, journalists, medical professionals and universities.

The IHL team is inviting humanitarian professionals to submit an expression of interest to attend a three-day course: International Legal Frameworks for Humanitarians, to be run from 30 April to 2 May 2018. More information and application form (due by 2 March).

The IHL team also supports Red Cross people in delivering IHL presentations to community groups and the general public.  Please subscribe to the Update or follow our Facebook page for upcoming events.
