Creating more inclusive polices for migrants during COVID-19
In June 2021, the Global Migration Lab organized an important policy event on access to basic services for migrants, co-hosted by the United Nations Network on Migration, International Committee of the Red Cross, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Mixed Migration Centre.
The event brought together academics, policymakers and practitioners from across 50 countries, sharing current data on migrants’ experiences during COVID-19 and policy recommendations to ensure a more inclusive response.
In 2022, the Global Migration Lab will host a series of policy debates on key migration issues.
