Entry to this course requires recent (within 6 months) achievement of HLTAID003 Provide first aid.

Recertification
The recommended industry standard to maintain current competency is for this course to be refreshed every 3 years.
Assessment
Students will be assessed through the demonstration of practical skills, participation in role plays and remote area simulations, analysis of case studies, written practical tasks and a written test.
Outcome
On successful completion of this remote first aid course, students will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations.
