Lady Lawley Cottage has a range of volunteering opportunities on offer to those looking to donate time and expertise to improve the lives of children and young people with a disability.
We work with each volunteer to tailor their experience to ensure that it meets individual expectations, including:
- joining a fun, caring and compassionate community
- gaining experience within a professional field
- adding practical experience to academic study in a related field
Volunteers are a vital part of operations at Lady Lawley Cottage, from business/administration support to assisting to deliver a fun and functional activity program to participants. Lady Lawley Cottage provides a range of volunteering opportunities in Finance/Administration, Housekeeping, Activity Facilitation and Play Assistants.
Lady Lawley Cottage is committed to providing a flexible and meaningful volunteering opportunity for all our volunteers that promotes mutual benefit to both parties. We encourage ownership, active participation, innovation and open feedback. We value the unique skills of each volunteer and encourage them to be self-organising and impactful within their role.
The Lady Lawley Cottage volunteer program is guided by Volunteering Australia’s National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.
