Leadership team

Aoife is a Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in the area of disability, and has worked in the sector for 18 years in both Ireland and Australia.
Aoife has been at Lady Lawley Cottage for four years; beginning in HNU and providing clinical support to the leadership team and program areas. She has been in the Senior Manager role since November 2017. Being able to support teams to provide the best outcomes for clients and families is what Aoife loves about her role at LLC, as well as being a conduit to all other Red Cross programs to share the amazing work LLC does.

In her spare time Aoife loves yoga, travelling and returning to Ireland to visit family.

Laurie has been working as a Registered Nurse for 13 years. Her passion for supporting people in the community, and helping empower those who care for them, grew whilst working as a district nurse in central London.

Beginning her journey with the Australian Red Cross and Lady Lawley Cottage eight years ago, Laurie started as a Registered Nurse, then as a Clinical Nurse before finally becoming the High Needs Program Manager. She believes she has the best job ever, being able to support some of the most beautiful and inspiring families and often enabling them to care for their own children in the family home for the first time.

Laurie is a devoted mother and wife and loves being outdoors. Hanging at the beach with her dog is her idea of the perfect way to spend a morning.

Eve has worked in the disabilities sector for nine years, having trained specifically in Intellectual Disability Nursing and working in the sector in Ireland before moving to Australia in 2014.
Having worked at Lady Lawley Cottage for two years, Eve started as a Registered Nurse in the High Needs Programme before moving into the role of Day and Short Stays Nurse Lead in April 2017. She loves working at LLC as it allows her to work with the most amazing children and families, and her team are so dedicated to the children.
Eve loves to travel but says she has found her anchor at LLC.

Jo has worked within administration and office management for over 19 years, predominantly in the not for profit sector.
In her five years at Lady Lawley Cottage, Jo has worked within the service teams providing admin support before being appointed to the position of Logistics Team Leader. Meeting some of the most inspiring young people and their families is why Jo loves working at LLC. She believes the environment her team creates for young people is truly amazing and is proud to play a part in the high quality services LLC delivers.
Jo is a mother of three boys and two Labradors.

Veronica is a Registered Nurse, who prior to starting with Lady Lawley Cottage, worked with Red Cross blood service for 28 years as an RN and then an Area Manager.
Years of working in the highly regulated environment of the Blood Service has contributed to Veronica’s love of structure and order. Veronica has worked at LLC for three years, primarily in the area of compliance, and is currently the Quality and Risk Coordinator, and loves the challenge of working in the disability area. Helping LLC meet its regulatory requirements and deliver great care and support to the children and young people are what Veronica enjoys about her role.
Veronica has two children, three grandchildren and one mad but lovable dog.
