Bushfire financial assistance grants

Additional support grant: applications have closed

We are now assessing applications and will make payments to eligible applicants, depending on what they need and the total funds available.

Payments will be made in the week commencing 17 May 2021 directly to the bank accounts of eligible applicants

Grants paid

The following grants closed on 31 December 2020.

• Emergency grant for people who have lost their homes
• Injury grant for people hospitalised due to the fires
• Primary residence repair grant for home owner-occupiers whose homes were structurally damaged
• Re-establishment grant for people who lost their primary place of residence.
