Giving a regular donation is our recommended option. Your donation every four weeks will help Red Cross support the most vulnerable people in our local communities, here in Australia and across the Asia Pacific.

You can nominate the donation amount to be automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card every four weeks and you can contact us to cease your future contributions at any time.
Yes. At the end of the financial year, we will send you a statement that details all of your transactions with Australian Red Cross for those 12 months. We send our donor receipts annually to save on our administration costs, however you can request a receipt at any time by contacting us on 1800 811 700.
No. As a regular donor, your charitable donations are not tied to any one specific program, the donations go wherever the need is greatest and supports overall Red Cross work.
Every day of the year, you could be helping families rebuild their lives after a natural disaster, ensuring elderly Australians receive a daily phone call to check they’re OK and helping bring clean water and health programs to communities across the Asia Pacific region.
Our regular donors generate half of our fundraising revenue and is also our most cost-effective income source. Once a regular donor signs up through our website, it costs us just 8 cents in the dollar to process their ongoing donations, send regular updates and run the program.

You can make your regular donation by credit card or direct debit. Please note that credit card is Australian Red Cross’ preferred method for payment. Unfortunately, we are unable to take ongoing donations via PayPal or Bpay.

On receipt, your recurring donation will be cancelled from the following payment. Please note, you have the option to pause your regular donation for a few months, for example if your financial situation has changed temporarily. To do this, please contact our Supporter Services Team on the number above and advise them of how long you’d like to put your monthly donations on hold.
We know a high proportion of Australians are paid on a fortnightly basis, so we changed our donation payment schedule to reflect this - giving those who’ve recently signed up to regular giving the option of making a donation every 4 weeks.
This gives our supporters more choice, so you can align your regular charity donation with your salary pay cycle, and choose when donations happen.
Previously our regular givers were only able to make a donation on three days of every month: the 1st, 17th and 20th.
