Adrian Richardson

Celebrity chef and Australian Red Cross Ambassador

You eat a piece of cake with friends and raise money for a fantastic cause, what could be wrong with that?!

Adrian Richardson

Adrian Richardson is one of the most recognisable chefs in Australia. Adrian is the owner and head chef of La Luna Bistro and Bouvier Bar in Melbourne. He is also known as the co-host of TV's Good Chef, Bad Chef. He co-hosted the hit series Boys Weekend with close friends Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel and Miguel Maestre, which now airs in over 100 countries and has published two books, Meat and The Good Life.

As a father of three young sons, Adrian knows first hand how important it is for kids to start the day with a nutritious breakfast. He visited a Good Start Breakfast Club in 2016 and was humbled by the experience. "I don't like getting up early in the morning," said Adrian. "But believe me I think it's really worth it. Kids having breakfast in the morning and they're so happy and cheerful, it does a great job."

Adrian is a man of many talents; he also appeared on the Today Showon Channel 9 in late 2016 and won $10,000 for Australian Red Cross by bowling a strike in the segment Celebrity Bowl Off. He is also a proud supporter of our Big Cake Bake fundraiser. He says of the campaign; "you eat a piece of cake with friends and raise money for a fantastic cause, what could be wrong with that?!"

Adrian tirelessly supports our work and major campaigns and we are proud to have him as a Red Cross ambassador.
