Red Cross personal support volunteers attended the Commission of Inquiry Community meeting to support the local community. We have provided a range of community and agency resources, including our Communicating in Recovery Guide, Psychological First Aid Manual, and the After the Emergency activity guide for children, assisting the local community in their journey of recovery.
In January we are working in the affected area and providing outreach and we will maintain a presence in the affected area over the next three months to plan longer term support for the Margaret River community.
Red Cross supports communities, particularly the most vulnerable people, to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.
Making a donation to Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery supports the work that Red Cross Emergency Services do every day in Australia and wherever we are needed around the world.
