Red Connections is a partnership project between Red Cross and the Australian Government, funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship's Living in Harmony Program. The Living in Harmony Program seeks to promote Australian values, especially mutual respect, to engage the whole community and address issues of intolerance in Australia.
Red Cross has worked in partnership with the education sector and communmity groups to develop a Toolkit and supporting Online Resources. The Toolkit and Online Resources are designed to facilitate young people learning about issues of tolerance and mutual respect, then planning, implementing and evaluating a project that will increase understanding within their school and local community.
