Community Nutrition services
Our Community Nutrition services ensure the most vulnerable in our community receive the best nutrition advice and have a balanced diet.
Good Start Breakfast Club
Good Start Breakfast Club (GSBC) helps kids at schools around the state get a good start to the day by eating a nutritious breakfast. Supported by Coles, kids participating in the GSBC program eat a healthy breakfast, thereby helping them stay much more alert and focused and enabling them to learn better when they're at school, than their peers who don't eat breakfast. Kids enjoy a healthy breakfast with Good Start Breakfast Club

Kids enjoy a healthy breakfast to start the day at a Good Start Breakfast Club.
With 25% of Australian school children missing breakfast, this can adversely affect children's concentration, social behaviour, and physical development, and is linked to childhood obesity. Volunteers help with breakfast preparation, as well as impart important nutritional values to participating kids.
