There are many volunteering opportunities available at Lady Lawley Cottage (LLC) which involve helping care for children with special needs. We have a range of volunteers with a variety of special skills and interests. Volunteers provide assistance under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator and may assist with recreational and social programs community and school holiday activities as well as day to day activities such as story telling or painting.
If you live in or around the Perth Metro area, you will first need to attend an information session for potential volunteers or contact LLC to arrange a meeting. At the information session you will receive important information about the history and the principals of the Red Cross, together with details of the current volunteering opportunities available in Perth, which include LLC.
At the information Session you will receive a Volunteer Application Form. Most services require a National Police Check and reference checks may be undertaken. Prior to commencing your volunteer work with LLC, it is necessary for you to attend an orientation session.
