The Australian Red Cross has a National Advisory Committee that has representatives from Academia, Department of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Attorney General. Each Division also has an IHL Advisory Committee, which gives advice to the operations of the IHL Departments.

The Victorian IHL Advisory Committee includes representatives from Academia, Defence, the legal profession and Red Cross. Current members are:
