Dissemination to civilian audiences is mainly targeted to Red Cross staff and volunteers, legal and medical professionals and journalists. Our International Humanitarian Law Seminar Series training course for the general public is offered once a year.  
International Humanitarian Law Seminar Series 2008  
The International Humanitarian Law Seminar Series is designed for those people with an interest in IHL who would like to learn more about the laws of war. Instructors include IHL Department staff and, where possible, guest lecturers from academia and the military. Sessions cover the Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, How the Military Applies the Rules in the Field, the work of the International Red Cross Movement and War Crimes Trials.
