yconnect? is an innovative group comprised of over 250 young volunteers aged between 18 and 35. It provides assistance both in metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria through a number of projects and community programs, focusing on supporting vulnerable people in the community.
While these programs are part of the important work of the Australian Red Cross, they are also developed and coordinated solely by young people in the community, and provide the opportunity for young people to participate in interesting, relevant and exciting volunteer work.
yconnect? gives young volunteers the chance to develop relevant work skills while giving back to the community in which they live. At the same time, yconnect? brings together hundreds of young volunteers from across Victoria to share their experiences, have great fun through volunteer work, and to support humanity as part of Australian Red Cross Victoria.
