VOLUNTEER POSITION PROFILE
POSITION TITLE: Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) volunteer
DEPARTMENT: Community Programs
POSITION LOCATION: Geelong
POSITION REPORTS TO: Vikky Gugger
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Ongoing
TIMES: 2 hours a fortnight
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: (Specify the duties/tasks associated with this role)
Volunteer is trained to visit an elderly person in an aged care facility, on a fortnightly basis.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: (Is there any special skill that would be advantageous such as another language?)
(Are there any tasks the volunteer should be aware of, such as heavy lifting required?)
Language other than English welcomed.
NB: ARCV does not engage volunteers for more than 2 days a week in total
