14 November 2006

Australian Red Cross First Aid, Health and Safety Services are conducting the WorkSafe Victoria approved five day Initial Level Occupational Health (OHS) Courses for Health and Safety Representatives, (HSRs) Deputy HSRs, Managers and Supervisors.

This five day course has been developed and is conducted by OHS professionals with extensive industry based OHS experience and qualifications.

The training will provide participants with five days (over five weeks) of intensive training to assist in the implementation of an effective health and safety strategy in the workplace, as well as provide knowledge of health and safety legislation. A selection of Health and Safety videos will be shown during the course and practical exercises will be included.

As a Registered Training Organisation, Australian Red Cross, has a long history of providing First Aid Training, an important part of OHS, to its corporate, government, union and organisational clients.

Funds raised from First Aid Training and OHS help people in need throughout our community. It supports local programs such as emergency services first aid and catering during bushfires, providing transport to essential medical appointments for someone in need or providing breakfast to children who may otherwise go without.
