Proud sponsor of Big Cake Bake 2013 and 2014 - Baking the world a better place.
In April 2013, The Cheesecake Shop signed on as a National Community Partner of Red Cross by becoming a major sponsor of the Big Cake Bake in 2013 and 2014.
Established by brothers Robert and Warwick Konopacki in 1991, The Cheesecake Shop is now one of Australia's most successful franchise systems with more than 200 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. The brand is synonymous with immaculately presented and delicious cakes loved by a generation of Australians and New Zealanders.
Funding provided by the partnership will help Red Cross assist the most vulnerable within our communities no matter who they are, no matter where they live.
Warwick Konopacki, Managing Director of The Cheesecake Shop, is eager to get involved in Big Cake Bake this August. "On behalf of our 180 franchisees, we're thrilled to partner with Red Cross for the Big Cake Bake over the next two years. Our franchisees are passionate business owners and can't wait to promote Big Cake Bake in their local communities. There is no better cause to support than Red Cross."
The 24 month partnership will see the franchisees engaged in Big Cake Bake fundraising opportunities through their stores and their customers.
"We're thrilled to have The Cheesecake Shop on board as a major supporter of Big Cake Bake. With 180 bakeries around Australia, our supporters will know that there's a local Cheesecake Shop there to help make their event a success. Most of all, it's all for a good cause - helping Red Cross help those in need." - David Armstrong, Head of Fundraising at Australian Red Cross.
