Strategy 2015: Working as One is our new strategic plan, commencing July 2010.
Strategy 2015 describes who we are, how we work and how we help. It provides a clear plan for our work over the next five years in making a positive and lasting impact on disadvantage in our seven priority areas.
Strategy 2015 builds on our last strategic plan and responds to the strategic plan of the International Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies, Strategy 2020. The new plan will support us to:
- achieve our goals and outcomes
- measure our performance so that we can improve and innovate
- be accountable to our stakeholders for our work at a program and organisational level
- realise the benefits of current and past organisational renewal projects to achieve one Red Cross strategy, structure and ways of working
- assist our people to understand how their work contributes to achieving our shared vision and mission.
The plan was developed under the direction of the Board, with the close involvement of the National Management Team, and input from staff, members and volunteers.
We will communicate internally and externally on our progress against Strategy 2015 annually.
