Red Cross National Awards

Our people are our greatest asset. Our national awards are a way to recognise the tremendous contributions they make in bringing humanitarian aid to vulnerable people and advancing the organisation's reputation and operations.

Red Cross members, volunteers and staff can be nominated for their special achievements or for displaying exceptional leadership, service or performance through their contributions to Red Cross and the community. If as a member, volunteer or staff member, you know someone who has gone above and beyond their duty, you can put them forward for an award.

There are nine national awards that Red Cross people can be nominated for:

  • Honorary Life Membership
  • Distinguished Service Award
  • International Service Award
  • Distinguished Staff Award ]
  • Distinguished Team Award
  • Outstanding Service Award
  • Meritorious Service Award
