Patient Transport Driver Volunteer

Volunteer Patient Transport Service enables Red Cross to provide transport support to clients who have no other travel arrangements to attend essential medical appointments.

The Red Cross Patient Transport Driver work in rosters and are scheduled depending on their availability. Volunteers are responsible for transporting clients to and from essential hospital or doctor's appointments, driving in Red Cross fleet vehicle.

To become a Patient Transport Driver, you will hold a current Victorian Drivers licence, and an ability to read maps. Your reliable and empathetic personality and your ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients will make you an ideal person for this role.
