The 2005 Australian Red Cross/International Committee of the Red Cross competition takes place in Perth, 2-6 July, in association with the annual conference of the Australian Law Students' Association.

The competition is open to teams of undergraduate students and aims to raise awareness of current IHL issues in the community.

This year's problem relates to a hypothetical situation of child soldiers and humanitarian assistance in Castal, a country rich in natural resources.
