Emergency REDiPlan

By taking some time to think about and plan for emergencies, you can help yourself and your household to be prepared and cope better if an emergency occurs.

Red Cross has booklets outlining four simple and easy-to-follow steps to prepare your household for an emergency, tips to keep in contact with family and friends during and after an emergency and useful resources to record an emergency plan for your household.

Red Cross also has a booklet specifically for seniors and a kids' activity booklet, as well as resources for people who are visually impaired, including large print booklets and audio files.

Four steps to prepare your household

Look out for the coloured boxes below on each page.
