Clubs and Branches
Clubs and Branches

Clubs and Branches support Red Cross at a local level in the following three ways:

1. organising fundraising events to raise money to support Red Cross services (for fundraising ideas, see the fundraising page)
2. completing further training to volunteer in local Red Cross services, such as Good Start Breakfast Club, Telecross and Community Visitor's Scheme etc
3. promoting the humanitarian work of Red Cross to ensure a high profile for Red Cross in the local community.

You can either get together a group of people who you think might like to be part of Red Cross or join an exisiting Club or Branch. There are nearly 8,000 Members represented in 300 Red Cross Clubs and Branches throughout NSW. From as far as Bourke in the west, Tweed Heads in the north, Sydney CBD in the east and Merimbula in the south. We even have representation in several major NSW Universities; University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney, University of Wollongong and Macquarie University.

Please contact the membership section of Red Cross to find out more. Phone 02 9229 4281, fax 02 9229 4265 or email nswmembership@redcross.org.au.
