Our volunteers work with local government, Red Cross societies and other humanitarian agencies in Asia and the Pacific to support people to be better prepared for disasters and more able to cope when they strike.
They help to create community-based disaster management plans, strengthen logistics and warehousing, train emergency services workers and address the needs of women, people with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups.
Whether you're a policy and planning officer, fire fighter, logistician, first responder or program coordinator, if you want a career in international humanitarian aid, volunteering is one of the best ways to get started.
