IHL Events and Activities
The Australian Red Cross IHL Program has an obligation to disseminate the principles and application of IHL. We undertake this duty by providing training and education programs to groups who are in some way involved in situations of armed conflict; and to members of the general public wanting to learn more about humanitarian principles and the mandate of Red Cross.

For the General Public
Public events, seminars and panel debates that address topical IHL issues and Humanitarian Principles are run throughout the year around Australia.
For Lawyers, Journalists and Medical workers
A series of professional education seminars are run throughout the year in various capital cities.
For Students
The IHL Program runs debate competitions and co-hosts the annual ALSA IHL Moot to educate students on  IHL and how it relates to particular areas of study.
With the Australian Defence Force
The IHL Program provides training sessions: IHL Course for Army Health Service Officers and the IHL Instructors' Course for invited members of the defence forces.
